अमेरिका के प्रमुख अखबार वॉल स्ट्रीट जर्नल में प्रकाशित एक विज्ञापन इन दिनों विवादों में है। इस विज्ञापन में भारत की वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण समेत 10 वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकारियों को विदेशी निवेशक विरोधी बताकर वांछित बताया गया है. इस विज्ञापन ने भारत में एक बड़ा विवाद खड़ा कर दिया है। आपको बता दें कि विज्ञापन ऐसे समय में प्रकाशित किया गया है जब निर्मला सीतारमण जी20 के वित्त मंत्रियों और केंद्रीय बैंक के गवर्नरों की बैठकों में भाग लेने के लिए अमेरिका में हैं।

13 अक्टूबर को प्रकाशित इस विज्ञापन में निर्मला सीतारमण के अलावा एंट्रिक्स कॉर्प के चेयरमैन राकेश शशिभूषण, सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता, सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जज हेमंत गुप्ता, वी रामसुब्रमण्यम, स्पेशल पीसी (भ्रष्टाचार निवारण) एक्ट जज चंद्रशेखर, सीबीआई डीएसपी आशीष पारीक, प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) के निदेशक संजय कुमार मिश्रा और अतिरिक्त सॉलिसिटर जनरल एन वेंकटरमन। इस विज्ञापन में ईडी के सहायक निदेशक आर राजेश और उप निदेशक ए सादिक मोहम्मद का भी नाम है.

विज्ञापन में आरोप लगाया गया है कि उन्होंने सरकारी संस्थानों का दुरुपयोग कर भारत को निवेशकों के लिए असुरक्षित बना दिया है. विज्ञापन के नीचे एक क्यूआर कोड भी होता है, जिसे स्कैन करने पर अमेरिकी थिंक टैंक फ्रंटियर्स ऑफ फ्रीडम की वेबसाइट खुल जाती है।

सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय की वरिष्ठ सलाहकार कंचन गुप्ता ने दावा किया कि यह अभियान देवास मल्टीमीडिया के पूर्व सीईओ रामचंद्रन विश्वनाथन द्वारा चलाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने ट्वीट किया, “धोखेबाजों के लिए अमेरिकी मीडिया को हथियार बनाना शर्मनाक है। यह चौंकाने वाला घृणित विज्ञापन भारत और उसकी सरकार को लक्षित करने के लिए प्रकाशित किया गया है। क्या आप जानते हैं कि इसके पीछे कौन है? यह अभियान भगोड़े रामचंद्र विश्वनाथन द्वारा चलाया जा रहा है, जो था देवास के सीईओ।”

Kanchan Gupta, Senior Advisor, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting claimed that the campaign is being run by Ramachandran Viswanathan, former CEO of Devas Multimedia. He tweeted, “Shameful for fraudsters to weaponize US media. This shockingly disgusting ad has been published to target India and its government. Do you know who is behind this? This campaign by fugitive Ramchandra Viswanathan which is being run by the CEO of Devas.”
